PhD student
Analysis of organic compounds by HPLC-MS
Research Field:
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of organic compounds by HPLC-MS and other techniques including the synthesis of standard compounds. Samples will be studied in collaboration with paleontologists (e.g. see Wiemann et al., PeerJ. 2017;5:e3706. doi: 10.7717/peerj.3706, dinosaur origin of egg color: oviraptors laid blue-green eggs). You will join an interactive, interdisciplinary team of researchers with diverse backgrounds and expertise. The project is integrated into a DFG-funded highly interdisciplinary research unit.
Requirements:
- Very good to excellent degree (State Examination or Master) in Pharmacy, Food Chemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biomedicine or a related subject.
- Basic skills for independent scientific working, above-average commitment, team spirit
